  • To provide Kaliningrad Oblast Administration with a Sectoral Strategy and Investment Programme for the market oriented restructuring of the fishery sector;

  • To disseminate and adapt to local conditions the models of the Sectoral Strategy and Investment Programme to the pilot oblasts Pskov, Archangelsk and Karelia;

  • To improve management skills of oblast officials and capacity building on the business approach and requirements of the reform process in the fishery sector.

Description: Master plan for an integrated deep-sea fishing port in Tanjung Manis. The purpose of the project was to develop a master plan for an integrated deep-sea fishing port that could serve the Malaysian deep-sea fishing vessels as well as foreign vessels. The master plan included layout of landing facilities, auction system, cold storage and fish processing facilities. Furthermore, the project included a marketing study for the fish species to be landed and a financial feasibility analysis
